Purpose
The purpose of THE INTERNATIONAL OBOE COMPETITION is to promote the true artistic value of oboe performances, as well to endeavor to discover and cultivate talented musicians. Moreover, it aims to expand their opportunities both in Japan and abroad, and to contribute to the development of musical culture with an international prospective.
