After graduating from the Piano department of the Royal Academy of Music, Tomoko Nozawa further studied at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in the Early Music department. She then went to France and graduated from the Early Music department of the Conservatoire a Rayonnement Regional de Paris (CRR) with a unanimous first prize. She currently performs mainly in France and Japan as a soloist and a basso continuo player with Baroque orchestras and ensembles.
