A graduate of the Tokyo University of the Arts (formerly Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music), Yoshida joined the NHK Symphony Orchestra in 1991 and now serves as a principal player. As a chamber musician, he has performed with many distinguished soloists and quartets. Yoshida performs as a member of various groups, such as Euros Ensemble, Art Respirant, Tokyo Sinfonietta, Izumi Sinfonietta, Kioi Sinfonietta Tokyo, and Kamakura Solisten. He has participated in the Kirishima International Music Festival and the Miyazaki Music Festival. Yoshida currently teaches at the Kyoto City University of Arts, the Tokyo College of Music, and the Kunitachi College of Music.
