Naoko Ishibashi graduated from the Music department of the Toho Gakuen School of Music. She has served as an official accompanist for the major wind instrument competitions in Japan, including the International Oboe Competition, the Kobe International Flute Competition and the Japan Woodwind Competition. Ishibashi won the Best Accompanist Award three times at the Biwako International Flute Competition.
