Mikiko Furusawa graduated from the Conservatoire de Musique de Geneve in Switzerland, where she obtained her qualification as a professional accompanist. While in school, she served as an official accompanist for the Geneva International Music Competition. Since returning to Japan, Furusawa has been performing with a number of soloists?both singers and instrument players?as an accompanist and also as a pianist for a chamber group.
