Katsushige Sato graduated from the Conservatoire de Paris and the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris and obtained the Diplome Superieur de Concertiste. After returning to Japan, he began performing in concerts and recitals. As a chamber player, he is highly regarded by many artists. Sato is enthusiastic in coaching young musicians and currently serves as a part-time lecturer at the Toho Gakuen School of Music and the Showa Academia Musicae.
