The Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 1970. Taijiro Iimori is the Chief Conductor, Sachio Fujioka is the Principal Conductor and Augustin Dumay is the Principal Guest Conductor. The orchestra is dedicated to bringing joy and excitement to audiences, while contributing to the culture and the society as one of the major orchestras in the Kansai area.
